Bio

I love painting as far as can I remember. I was lucky to be taught by Clara López López, a gifted art teacher and artist from Lugo, who taught me the meaning of art when I was a middle and high school student. I studied art at the school of Artes Aplicadas and Oficios Artísticos Ramón Falcón in Lugo and graduated from the Facultad de Bellas Artes (the School of Fine Arts) at the University of Salamanca. I also studied at the School of Fine Arts at the the University of the Basque Country.

Since 1988 my artwork has been shown in art exhibits in Spain, France, Portugal, El Salvador, Bosnia Herzegovina, the United States, and the Netherlands.

I have published children’s books and illustrated poetry and history books. I am the creator of  “Historias de Icía e Avoa,” a comic strip that has been regularly published in El Correo Gallego from 2006 to the present. I have also published other comic strips in Spain.
